Backs, neck, sports injuries, post-surgical rehab. Jessica’s main interests are manual therapy and exercise therapy with a focus on making treatment and exercises relevant to each individual depending on their goals, function and activities.
Jessica comes to Active Lifestyle Physio after relocating from Hurstville. She has been working in an busy private practice, where she developed her skills in sports injuries, aged care, post-op rehab and musculoskeletal conditions. She also has experience with sports physio coverage, being part of the medical team at the 2013 National Masters Hockey competition.
What do you like most about your current position:
The supportive environment and one-on-one session times allow me to develop good relationships with patients, and give them the best care possible.
Other projects and professional training you are currently working on or will be commencing soon:
I recently completed the APA Spinal Level 1 course, and a neural mobilisation course. I am interested in doing the Sports Level 1 course, dry needling and pilates.
Hobbies and Interests outside of Work:
Going for long walks, spending time with family and friends, travelling around Australia and the world.
